Greetings

Greetings from the Director

❝What if I were diagnosed
with dementia?❞

This is one of the greatest concerns
as we grow older.

Dementia is one of the most challenging diseases. It gradually takes away memories, and eventually, people with dementia may no longer be able to manage daily life on their own, placing a heavy burden on their families as well. The Dementia Prevention Center shares these concerns and works together to address them.

As Korea enters an aging society, the prevalence of dementia continues to increase.

The ❛Gwangju Dementia Prevention Center❜ has opened to provide systematic management through dementia prevention and early screening.

The Asian Dementia Foundation’s [Dementia Prevention Center] aims to improve the quality of life of older adults by conducting research on Alzheimer’s disease caused by brain degeneration.

If ❛recent memory impairment❜ makes it difficult to remember recent events and other cognitive functions decline to the point where daily activities are affected, it threatens not only the lives of those with dementia but also the lives of their families.

Since there is currently no cure for dementia, accurate diagnosis, treatment, and management are essential when symptoms are suspected.

Prepare for a happier life
through a free
dementia screening.
