Overview
A Global Research Platform
for Overcoming Dementia
Asian Dementia Foundation (ADF) is a non-profit foundation established based on Asia’s largest dementia cohort dataset (20,000+ participants), which has been accumulated since 2013.
This core research asset, entrusted by the Gwangju Alzheimer’s & Related Dementias Cohort Research Center (GARD), includes data on ‘asymptomatic Alzheimer’s disease’ collected through more than 12 years of longitudinal follow-up, as well as multimodal big data including brain imaging, genomic, and clinical information, and high-quality biospecimens such as blood, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), and DNA.
Our Mission
As a ‘global integrated platform for overcoming dementia’, we provide transparent and ethical research resources to research institutions, bio-health companies, academia, and governments worldwide.
Through these efforts, we aim to accelerate the research and development of innovative dementia diagnosis and treatment technologies, support the growth of the future dementia healthcare industry, and ultimately contribute to healthy aging and improved quality of life for humanity.
